HOW is OUR MICRO MODAL Made ?

Our Micro Modal is crafted from sustainably harvested beech trees. It is broken down and turned into a pulp, which is spun into a ‘‘honey-like’ mass and is then pressed through micro-fine nozzles and the fibers are spun. They are treated again several times and washed, stretched, cut and dried.

From this step the fibers are shipped to our knitting house in Portugal to be turned into fabric. 

From there, we send it to our dying  house where it undergoes a patented softening process exclusively developed for DOUCEUR Soft™
